What we chose not to publish here, and why

The original Patente de Comercio also carries the owner's national ID number (DPI) and exact home address — this business has no separate commercial premises, so that address is also where the owner lives. Neither is needed to verify the registration, which can be confirmed directly with the Registro Mercantil de Guatemala using the file number above. We left them off this page on purpose, for the owner's personal safety.

What "individual merchant" means for you
